Abstract
The invention concerns a biodegradable lubricating composition, based on mineral hydrocarbon oil and ester, comprising a majority amount of a mineral hydrocarbon fraction substantially free of aromatic compounds, said fraction having a normal paraffin content not more than 10 wt. % and an isoparaffin content not less than 36 wt. %, and a minority amount ranging between 5 and 40 wt. % of at least a fatty acid ester.
Claims18
Biodegradable lubricating composition, based on mineral hydrocarbon oil and ester, comprising a majority amount of between 95 and 60% by weight of a mineral hydrocarbon fraction substantially free of aromatic compounds, said fraction having a normal paraffin content of not more than 10% by weight and an isoparaffin content not less than 35% by weight and a minority amount ranging between 5 and 40% by weight of at least one fatty ester, wherein the mineral cut has a flow point (according to method NF T 60105) below or equal to −30° C., and wherein the mineral hydrocarbon oil comprises at least 45% naphthenes.
