Abstract
The invention relates to a process for conversion of hydrocarbons in the presence of at least one catalyst with controlled acidity, characterized in that the level of activity of said catalyst in isomerization of the cyclohexane is less than 0.10 and/or in that the ratio of toluene hydrogenation activity to the cyclohexane isomerization activity is greater than 10.
Claims22
A process comprising hydrotreating a hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of at least a first upstream catalyst bed and a second downstream catalyst bed, wherein catalysts in both beds are concatenated catalysts of controlled acidity, wherein the level of activity of both catalysts in isomerization is less than 0.10 and in that the ratio of hydrogenating activity to isomerizing activity is greater than 10, and the catalyst of said first catalyst bed comprises at least one metal selected from Fe, Co, and Ni.
