Abstract
An apparatus for and a method of sizing a window covering in a sizing mechanism in a retail outlet includes a slide secured to a bay of a retail outlet. A housing configured to support a sizing mechanism for sizing a window covering is slidably coupled to the slide and is movable from a retracted position located substantially within the bay to a extended position in which at least a portion of the housing extends out of the bay. A sizing mechanism for sizing a window covering is disposed on the housing.
Claims17
An apparatus for sizing a window covering in a sizing mechanism in a retail outlet, comprising:
- a slide securable to a bay of a retail outlet;
- a housing with a top operating surface configured to support a window covering to be sized, the housing being slidably coupled to the slide and being movable from a retracted position located substantially within the bay to an extended position in which at least a portion of the housing extends out of the bay;
- and
- a sizing mechanism for sizing the window covering disposed on the housing.
An apparatus for sizing a window covering in a sizing mechanism in a retail outlet, comprising:
- means for supporting a window covering and a sizing mechanism;
- means for sizing a window covering disposed on the support means;
- and
- means for sliding the support means from a retracted position located substantially within a bay to a extended position in which at least a portion of the housing extends out of the bay.
An apparatus for sizing a window covering in a retail outlet, comprising:
- a bay of a retail outlet;
- a slide disposed within the bay of the retail outlet;
- a housing with a top operating surface adapted to support a window covering, wherein the housing is coupled to the slide and is slidable from a retracted position located substantially within the bay to an extended position in which at least a portion of the housing extends out of the bay;
- and
- a sizing mechanism disposed on the housing adapted to size the window covering.
An apparatus for sizing a window covering in a retail outlet, comprising:
- a bay of a retail outlet including at least one support;
- a slide secured to the support;
- a housing including a plurality of wall panels and adapted to support a window covering, at least one of the wall panels being coupled to the slide, wherein the housing is moveable from a retracted position located substantially within the bay to an extended position in which at least a portion of the housing extends out of the bay;
- and
- a sizing mechanism disposed on the housing adapted to size a window covering.
