A method for treating diabetic neuropathy is disclosed consisting of administering pyridoxamine or a salt thereof.

A method for treating diabetic neuropathy in a mammal consisting of administering to a diabetic mammal an amount effective to treat diabetic neuropathy of pyridoxamine or a salt thereof.
