Abstract
The present invention provides amino acid sequences of peptides that are encoded by genes within the human genome, the kinase peptides of the present invention. The present invention specifically provides isolated peptide and nucleic acid molecules, methods of identifying orthologs and paralogs of the kinase peptides, and methods of identifying modulators of the kinase peptides.
Claims16
An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a transcript or cDNA sequence that encodes a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:2;
- (b) SEQ ID NO:1;
- (c) nucleotides 1-1659 of SEQ ID NO:1;
- and
- (d) a nucleotide sequence that is completely complementary to a nucleotide sequence of (a), (b), or (c).
An isolated nucleic acid molecule having a nucleotide sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:1 or the complement thereof.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule having a nucleotide sequence comprising nucleotides 1-1659 of SEQ ID NO:1 or the complement thereof.
An isolated transcript or cDNA nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence that encodes a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO:2, or the complement of said nucleotide sequence.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule, wherein the nucleic acid molecule consists of a nucleotide sequence that encodes a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 with the exception that residue 512 of SEQ ID NO:2 is proline.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule wherein the nucleic acid molecule consists of a nucleotide sequence that encodes a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 with the exception that residue 512 of SEQ ID NO:2 is threonine.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule, wherein the nucleic acid molecule campuses a nucleotide sequence that encodes a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 with the exception that residue 512 of SEQ ID NO:2 is proline.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule wherein the nucleic acid molecule comprises a nucleotide sequence that encodes a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 wit the exception that residue 512 of SEQ ID NO:2 is threonine.
