Abstract
The present invention relates to a serine threonine kinase. The invention also relates to nucleic acids encoding the kinase, vectors, host cells, antibodies and recombinant methods for producing the h2520-59 polypeptide. In addition, the invention discloses therapeutic, diagnostic and research utilities for h2520-59 and related products.
Claims11
An isolated h2520-59 polypeptide-produced by the process comprising:
- (a) inserting a vector comprising a polynucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 2 into a host cell,
- (b) culturing said host cell under suitable conditions to express the polypeptide thereby producing said polypeptide;
- and
- (c) optionally isolating the polypeptide from the cultured host cell.
An isolated polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 2.
An isolated polypeptide encoded by the nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- (b) an h2520-59 encoding portion of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 comprising nucleotides 49–1122 of SEQ ID NO 1;
- (c) a nucleotide sequence encoding the polypeptide set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- and
- (d) a nucleotide sequence complementary to any of (a)–(c).
