Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed which includes a conductive resin substrate and a resin layer. The resin layer includes a binding resin and is formed on the conductive resin substrate. The difference between the solubility parameter of the conductive resin substrate and the solubility parameter of the resin layer of the photoreceptor is 2.5 (J/cm3)1/2 or less.
Claims16
An electrophotographic photoreceptor, comprising:
- a conductive resin substrate;
- and
- a resin layer comprised of a binding resin and formed on the conductive resin substrate;
- wherein a difference between a solubility parameter of the conductive resin substrate and the solubility parameter of the resin layer is 2.5 (J/cm3)1/2 or less;
- and
- the conductive resin substrate is comprised of a resin that is chemically different from the resin comprising the resin layer.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor, comprising:
- a conductive resin substrate comprising one or more resins selected from a first group consisting of a polyamide resin, a polyvinyl butyral resin, and a polyester resin;
- and
- a resin layer comprising one or more resins selected from a second group consisting of a polycarbonate resin, a polyamide resin, a polyvinyl butyral resin, and a polyester resin and formed on the conductive resin substrate;
- wherein a difference between a solubility parameter of the resin selected from the first group and a solubility parameter of the resin selected from the second group is 2.5 (J/cm3)1/2 or less;
- and
- the conductive resin substrate is comprised of a resin that is chemically different from the resin comprising the resin layer.
