Abstract
The present invention relates to resins based on functionalized polystyrene, to the method for the production thereof, to the use thereof for producing columns for purifying anti-factor VIII antibodies, and also to a method for purifying anti-factor VIII antibodies ex vivo.
Claims21
A resin made of polystyrene crosslinked at 2–5% and functionalized with sulfonate groups and sulfamide groups derived from the methyl ester of L-tyrosine, characterized in that it corresponds to the following formula (I):
- in which:
- a is between 5 and 15%;
- b is between 74 and 82%;
- c is between 0 and 5%;
- and
- d is between 5 and 15%;
- n is between 3 and 5 000;
- the sum of a+b+c+d being equal to 100.
