Lubricant composition, method for using and preparing thereof and molecular complex compound used for the same

A lubricant composition comprising a molecular complex formed between a substrate molecule (s) and a receptor molecule (ρ) having mutual steric complimentarity, the complex being formed by hydrogen bonding between multiple interaction sites of the substrate and receptor in the form of complementary tautomeric functional groups such that the resulting molecular complex has a planar structure;

• with the proviso that the complex is not formed from a compound of formula (TAM):
• wherein the substituents R1, R2 and R3 independently represent a substituent and the indices x, y and z independently represent an integer of 1 to 5;
• and
• wherein one of the substrate molecule and the receptor molecule is a compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the formulae (III) to (XI), and the substrate molecule or the receptor molecule that is not represented by a compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the formula (III) to (XI), is a compound represented by the formula (XII):
• wherein R31 to R33 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• Q31 and Q32 independently represent an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;
• and R31 and R32, or R32 and R33 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein R41 to R44 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• Q41 represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;
• and R41 and R42, R41 and R43, or R42 and R44 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein R51 to R54 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• and R51 and R52, or R51 and R53 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein R61 to R63 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• Q61 represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom;
• and R61 and R62 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein Q71 to Q73 independently represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;
• X represents —C(═R71)— or —C(R72)(R73)—;
• R71 represents a substitutive group;
• R72 and R73 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group;
• at least one of R71 to R73 represents a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• and R72 and R73 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein Q81 to Q83 independently represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or N(R82);
• R81 and R82 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• and R81 and R82 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure when Q83 represents N(R82 )
• wherein Q91 and Q92 independently represents a single bond, N(R94) wherein R94 represents a hydrogen or C1-30 alkyl group, oxygen atom, sulfur atom, carbonyl, sulfonyl, or any combination thereof;
• R91 and R92 independently represents a hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group;
• and R93 represents a halogen atom, hydroxyl, amino, mercapto, cyano, sulfide, carboxyl or a salt thereof, sulfo or a salt thereof, hydroxyamino, ureido, or urethane;
• wherein Q101 to Q103 independently represents an oxygen atom, sulfur atom or N(R103);
• and R101 to R103 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• and
• wherein Q111 and Q112 independently represents an oxygen atom, sulfur atom or N(R115);
• R111 to R115 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substitutive group, at least one of which being a substitutive group containing a C4 or longer alkyl chain or oligoalkyleneoxy chain, a C2 or longer perfluoroalkyl chain, perfluoroalkyl ether chain or organic polysilyl chain;
• and R111 and R113, R113 and R114, R113 and R115, R112and R114, or R114 and R115 may optionally bind with each other to form a cyclic structure;
• wherein R121 represents a substitutive group;
• and Q121 and Q122 independently represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.
