Abstract
A process for producing a halogenated aromatic amine compound by allowing an aromatic amine compound to react with a dihalogenated aromatic compound in the presence of i) a metallic catalyst having a phosphorus-containing ligand having at least one cyclic hydrocarbon group and ii) a basic compound in a non-reactive solvent.
Claims10
A process for producing a halogenated aromatic amine compound, comprising allowing an aromatic amine compound represented by the following Formula (1):
- H2N—Ar1 (1), wherein Ar1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, to react with a dihalogenated aromatic compound represented by the following Formula (2):
- Y1—Ar2—Y2 (2), wherein Ar2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted biphenylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenylene group, and Y1 and Y2 each independently represent an iodine atom, a bromine atom or a chlorine atom, in the presence of a metallic catalyst and a basic compound in a non-reactive solvent to obtain a halogenated aromatic amine compound represented by the following Formula (3):
- wherein Ar1, Ar2 and Y1 are as defined above,
- wherein the metallic catalyst has a phosphorus-containing ligand having at least one cyclic hydrocarbon group, and
- wherein the phosphorus-containing ligand is represented by formula (6-10), (6-11), (6-23), (6-24), (6-25), (6-26) or (6-31):
