Claims34
A method for forming an alkenoic amide, comprising:
- treating a PHA to form the alkenoic amide,
- wherein the alkenoic amide is derived from only one repeat unit of the PHA, and the PHA is selected from the group consisting of poly 3-hydroxypropionate, poly 2-methyl-3-hydroxypropionate, and a copolymer thereof.
A method for forming an alkenoic amide, comprising:
- treating a biomass containing a PHA to form the alkenoic amide,
- wherein the PHA is selected from the group consisting of poly 3-hydroxypropionate, poly 2-methyl-3-hydroxypropionate, and a copolymer thereof.
A method for forming an alkenoic amide, comprising:
- heating a PHA to a temperature of at most about 100° C to form the alkenoic amide,
- wherein a percent yield of the alkenoic amide is at least about 50%, and the PHA is selected from the group consisting of poly 3-hydroxypropionate, poly 2-methyl-3-hydroxypropionate, and a copolymer thereof.
A method for forming an alkenoic amide, comprising:
- heating a PHA to form the alkenoic amide,
- wherein the PHA is selected from the group consisting of poly 3-hydroxypropionate, poly 2-methyl-3-hydroxypropionate, and a copolymer thereof.
