Abstract
A seal pattern for a liquid crystal display device includes a substrate having an active area and a non-active area, a main seal pattern arranged in a boundary between the active area and the non-active area and having an injection hole, a V-shaped seal pattern arranged in the non-active area and spaced apart from the injection hole, wherein an open portion of the V-shape faces in a direction opposite the injection hole, and a sub-seal pattern arranged in the non-active area, having a same width as that of the main seal pattern, and having a plurality of exhaust holes arranged in positions corresponding to the V-shaped seal pattern and the injection hole.
Claims21
A seal pattern for a liquid crystal display device, comprising:
- a substrate including an active area and a non-active area;
- a main seal pattern arranged in a boundary between the active and non-active areas, the main seal pattern including an injection hole;
- a sub-seal pattern arranged in the non-active area, the sub-seal pattern enclosing the non-active area and including a pattern of exhaust holes;
- and
- a V shaped seal pattern between the sub-seal pattern and the main seal pattern.
A seal pattern on a substrate of a liquid crystal display device, comprising:
- a main seal pattern arranged in a boundary between an active area and a non-active area of a substrate, the main seal pattern including a liquid crystal injection hole;
- a seal pattern arranged in the non-active area and including a first exhaust hole and a first pattern that is substantially V-shaped;
- and
- a first sub-seal pattern between the main seal pattern and the seal pattern arranged in the non-active area, wherein the injection hole and the first exhaust hole are coaxially aligned.
