Abstract
Inosine compounds, compositions comprising an inosine compound and methods for treating or preventing an inflammation disease or a reperfusion disease comprising administering an effective amount of an inosine compound to a patient in need thereof are disclosed.
Claims29
A method for treating an inflammatory bowel disease, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein;
- R1 is C2-C6 acyl, SO3H or P2O6H3;
- and
- R2, R3 and R4 are independently H, C2-C6 acyl, SO3H, PO3H2, P2O6H3 or P3O9H4.
A method for treating an inflammatory bowel disease, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
- R1 is C2-C6 acyl, SO3H, PO3H2, P2O6H3 or P3O9H4;
- and
- R2, R3 and R4 are independently H, C2-C6 acyl, SO3H, PO3H2, P2O6H3 or P3O9H4.
A method for treating an inflammatory bowel disease, comprising orally or enterally administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
- R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently H, C2-C6 acyl, SO3H, PO3H2, P2O6H3 or P3O9H4.
