Abstract
Inorganic pigments treated with at least one amide of a fatty acid and an aliphatic amine possess improved processibility and dispersibility in thermoplastic materials, and impart improved properties to thermoplastic compositions containing said surface-treated pigments.
Claims4
An inorganic pigment having deposited on its surface at least one amide of a fatty acid and an aliphatic amine, wherein the one or more amides are deposited on the pigment's surface in an amount collectively of from about 0.1 to about 5 percent of the weight of the pigment.
