Abstract

A method for producing contact-free chip card includes embedding metallized bumps of the chip into an antenna as the chip is mounted on the antenna.

Dependent claims

A method of manufacturing a contactless smart card including an integrated-circuit chip and an antenna, comprising:

producing metallised protrusions on two contact pads on the chip, said method including a step of connecting the chip to the antenna by embedding the metallised protrusions in a thickness of the antenna, at the same time the chip is connected to the antenna.
