Abstract
The present invention provides a method for obtaining a compound useful as a raw material for various fluororesins in high yield by a short process by using a starting material which is inexpensive and readily available.
Claims23
A method for producing a fluorine-containing compound, which comprises reacting the following compound (1) with the following compound (2) to produce the following compound (3) (provided that the compound (3) is a compound having a fluorine content of at least 30 mass % and has a hydrogen atom or an unsaturated bond which can be fluorinated), fluorinating the compound (3) in a liquid phase to produce the following compound (4), followed by a cleavage reaction of EF of the compound (4) to obtain a compound (5) and/or a compound (6):
- E1-RA-E1 (1)
- E2-RB (2)
- RB-E-RA-E-RB (3)
- RBF-EF-RAF-EF-RBF (4)
- EF1-RAF-EF1 (5)
- RBF-EF2 (6)
- wherein
- RA, RB:
- RA is a fluorine-containing bivalent organic group which is the same as RAF, or a bivalent organic group which will be converted to RAF by a fluorination reaction, and RB is a monovalent organic group which is the same as RBF, or a monovalent organic group which will be converted to RBF by a fluorination reaction,
- RAF, RBF:
- RAF is a fluorine-containing bivalent organic group which is the same as or different from RA, and when different, it is a group having RA fluorinated, and RBF is a fluorine-containing monovalent organic group which is the same as or different from RB, and when different, it is a group having RB fluorinated,
- E1, E2:
- reactive groups which will react to each other to form a bivalent connecting group (E),
- E:
- a bivalent connecting group formed by the reaction of E1 and E2,
- EF:
- a group which is the same as E, or a group having E fluorinated, provided that at least one selected from RAF, RBF and EF, is a group formed by a fluorination reaction, and
- EF1, EF2:
- each independently is a group formed by cleavage of EF.
