Abstract
New subtilisin homologues (both nucleic acids and proteins) are provided. Compositions which include these new proteins, recombinant cells, shuffling methods involving the new homologues, antibodies to the new homologues, and methods of using the homologues are also provided.
Claims27
An isolated or recombinant polypeptide having endoprotease activity, which has an amino sequence that is at least 96% identical to SEQ ID NO:137 over a comparison window of SEQ ID NO:137, wherein the percent amino acid sequence identity is determined using the BLASTP program using the following parameters:
- wordlength of 3 and expectation of 10, and the BLOSUM62 scoring matrix.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
