Abstract
An implantable knee prosthesis includes a two-piece body having a substantially elliptical shape in plan and including a first piece and a second piece. The first piece is a tibial piece including a tibial surface. The second piece is a femoral piece including a femoral surface. The first piece and the second piece are mutually slidably engagable and separable.
Claims18
An implantable unicompartmental knee prosthesis comprising:
- a two-piece unicompartmental body having a substantially elliptical shape in plan;
- a first piece being a tibial piece including a tibial surface;
- a second piece being a femoral piece including a femoral surface;
- and
- the first piece and the second piece being mutually slidably engagable and separable, the first piece having a first notch and the second piece having a second notch aligned with the first notch.
