Abstract
A method of producing a synthesis gas by a reforming reaction of an organic compound with a reforming agent, in which the reforming reaction is performed using nonthermal plasma.
Claims6
A process for the production of hydrogen, which comprises subjecting a hydrogen-containing compound (with the exception of a nitrogen-containing compound) to a decomposition reaction with nonthermal plasma, wherein the hydrogen-containing compound is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon, an alcohol and water, wherein a ferroelectric substance is packed in an apparatus, and wherein the decomposition reaction is carried out in a temperature range from room temperature to 200° C.
