Use as heat exchange or hydraulic liquids in circuits or equipments subjected to ionizing radiations and/or irradiation with neutrons, of fluorinated liquids selected from the group formed by: A) (per)fluoropolyethers, B) (per)fluorocarbons, C) hydrofluoroethers, appearing liquid under room conditions (25° C., 1 atm).

A method comprising subjecting to ionizing radiations and/or irradiation with neutrons, the circuits or equipments containing, as heat exchange or hydraulic fluids, fluorinated compounds selected from:
- A) (per) fluoropolyethers,
- B) (per) fluorocarbons,
- C) hydrofluoroethers,
- appearing liquid under room conditions (25° C., 1 atm).
