A method for the treatment of Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a compound selected from the group consisting of pentoxifylline and etazolate.
A method for reducing early neuronal excitotoxicity associated with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of pentoxifylline and etazolate.
