Abstract
The invention relates to coloring and toning agents for keratinous fibers, in particular human hair, comprising at least one hydroxyanthraquinone derivative of formula (I), as a direct dye, in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle, where R=a group of formula (II), where R1 to R4=independently, H; OH; C1 to C4 alkoxy; C1 to C4 alkyl; C1 to C4 fluoroalkyl; carboxy; NO2; halogen; a group of formula SR5, where R5=H or C1 in C4 alkyl; a group of formula PhCH2—COOR6, where R6=H, C1 to C4 alkyl or a physiologically acceptable cation or, any two neighboring groups of R1 to R4 form a methylenedioxy rin and X=halogen. The inventive agents permit hair coloring with outstanding fastness.
Claims20
A composition for coloring or tinting keratin fibers comprising:
- (A) at least one substantive dye comprising at least one hydroxyanthraquinone derivative corresponding to formula (I):
- wherein R stands for a group corresponding to formula (II):
- wherein R1 to R4 independently of one another represent
- a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a C1-4 alkoxy group, a C1-4 alkyl group, a C1-4 fluoroalkyl group, a carboxy group, a nitro group, or a halogen atom,
- a group with the formula —S—R5 where R5 is a C1-4 alkyl group,
- a group with the formula —Ph—CH2—COOR6 where Ph is a phenyl ring and R6 is hydrogen, a C1-4 alkyl group or a physiologically acceptable cation, or
- a methylenedioxy ring formed from two adjacent substituents R1 to R4, and
- wherein X is a halogen atom;
- and
- (B) a cosmetically acceptable carrier for the hydroxyanthraquinone derivative.
