Abstract
A fan in which, on one end of the motor shaft 6 a stepped portion 19 having a small diameter is formed, on which a central portion of the motor yoke 11 is press-fitted and fixed by caulking, thereby the motor yoke is mounted directly on the shaft 6. By such a structure, the conventional boss between the shaft 6 and the motor yoke 11 can be omitted and the structure can be simplified.
Claims2
A fan comprising:
- a pair of bearings disposed in a central portion of a cylindrical casing;
- a motor yoke mounted on a motor shaft supported by the bearings;
- and
- a stator iron core disposed inside the motor yoke, wherein
- one end of the motor shaft is formed in a stepped portion having a smaller diameter than a diameter of the motor shaft,
- the one end of the motor having stepped portion being connected to said second end of the motor shaft through a stepped surface,
- the one end of the motor shaft having the smaller diameter being press-fitted and fixed by caulking at an end surface of the one end of the motor shaft to the motor yoke, and
- the motor yoke is mounted directly on the one end of the motor shaft.
