Cleaning device and method of use

A method of cleaning a floor using a cleaning device, comprising:

• providing a cleaning device, the cleaning device comprising:
• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• a rotating body rolling with the adhesive roll;
• and
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping up body and configured to guide dust scraped un by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the rotating body are rotatably supported by the frame, and the adhesive roll is arranged to rotate in parallel with the scraping up body and the rotating body and is positioned adjacently between the scraping up body and the rotating body without contacting a surface to be cleaned;
• and
• moving the cleaning device over the surface to be cleaned.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body supported within the frame;
• a rotating body supported within the frame and rotating as the frame moves along a surface to be cleaned;
• an adhesive roll supported within the frame, at least a portion of which is positioned adjacently between and above the scraping-up body and the rotating body;
• and
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping up body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the adhesive roll does not contact a surface to be cleaned.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• a rotating body rolling with the adhesive roll;
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping up body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping un body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the rotating body are rotatably supported by the frame, and the adhesive roll is arranged to rotate in parallel with the scraping up body and the rotating body;
• and
• a rotating shaft in the adhesive roll, the rotating shaft being movably supported to the frame so that said adhesive roll is in contact with the rotating body and a distance relation with respect to an outer periphery of the scraping up body is kept constant.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• a rotating body rolling with the adhesive roll;
• and
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping up body and configured to guide dust scraped tin by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the rotating body are rotatably supported by the frame, and the adhesive roll is arranged to rotate in parallel with the scraping up body and the rotating body;
• a rotating shaft in the adhesive roll, the rotating shaft being movably supported to the frame so that said adhesive roll is in contact with the rotating body and a distance relation with respect to an outer periphery of the scraping up body is kept constant;
• and
• the adhesive roll is mounted so as to ride over an imaginary circle around a center of a rotating shaft of the scraping up body so that said adhesive roll keeps said constant distance relation with said scraping up body, and a supporting guide for the rotating shaft of the adhesive roll is provided along an expected track which the rotating shaft of the adhesive roll draws on the frame when the outer diameter of the adhesive roll is reduced.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• a rotating body rolling with the adhesive roll;
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping a up body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the rotating body are rotatably supported by the frame, and the adhesive roll is arranged to rotate in parallel with the scraping up body and the rotating body;
• and
• urging means for pressure contacting said adhesive roll with the rotating body.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• and
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping un body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the adhesive roll are rotatably supported by the frame, and the adhesive roll is arranged to simultaneously rotate with the scraping up body while contacting an outer periphery of the scraping up body without contacting a surface to be cleaned.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• and
• a dustpan body arranged at a rear portion of said scraping un body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the adhesive roll are rotatably supported by the frame, and at least one portion of the adhesive roll is located above an upper part of the scraping up body, and
• wherein the adhesive roll is arranged to simultaneously rotate with the scraping up body while contacting an outer periphery of the scraping up body.

A cleaning device comprising:

• a frame;
• a scraping up body;
• an adhesive roll;
• and
• a rotating body rolling with the adhesive roll,
• wherein the scraping up body and the rotating body are rotatably supported by the frame, the adhesive roll is arranged to rotate in parallel with the scraping up body and the rotating body, and the adhesive roll is positioned adjacently to the scraping up body without contacting a surface to be cleaned;
• and
• a dustpan body adjacently arranged at a rear portion of said scraping up body and configured to guide dust scraped up by said scraping up body to the adhesive roll wherein the dustpan body has a bottom surface portion and a bottom end portion of a scooping surface portion in contact with the surface to be cleaned with no gap.
