Abstract
A method of covering a pot containing a floral grouping with a flexible sleeve having a bonding material thereon which connects the sleeve to the pot when the pot is positioned within the sleeve. In one version, the sleeve is positioned about the pot and a lower portion of the sleeve closely surrounds and encompasses the pot, an upper portion of the sleeve extending upwardly from the pot and substantially surrounding and encompassing the floral grouping contained within the pot, at least a portion of the sleeve being removable via the detaching elements, leaving a portion of the sleeve which is a decorative plant cover.
Claims22
A method of covering a pot having an outer surface and containing a floral grouping, comprising the steps of:
- providing a flexible tubular sleeve having an inner retaining space and having an adhesive or cohesive bonding material disposed upon a portion of an inner surface thereof;
- opening the flexible tubular sleeve wherein the flexible tubular sleeve is expanded outwardly;
- disposing the pot within the inner retaining space of the flexible tubular sleeve, wherein a portion of the flexible tubular sleeve is positioned adjacent the pot, and bondingly connecting said portion of the flexible tubular sleeve to the outer surface of the pot via the adhesive or cohesive bonding material on the inner surface of the flexible tubular sleeve.
A method of covering a pot having an outer surface and having a cohesive bonding material disposed upon a portion thereof and containing a floral grouping, comprising the steps of:
- providing a tubular flexible sleeve having an inner retaining space and having a cohesive bonding material disposed on an inner surface of the flexible tubular sleeve;
- opening the flexible tubular sleeve wherein the flexible tubular sleeve is expanded outwardly;
- disposing the pot within the inner retaining space of the flexible tubular sleeve, wherein a portion of the flexible tubular sleeve with the cohesive bonding material thereon is positioned adjacent the pot;
- and
- bondingly connecting said portion of the flexible tubular sleeve with the cohesive bonding material thereon to the portion of the outer surface of the pot having the cohesive bonding material.
