Abstract
The present invention relates to lottery game tickets and methods for making the same. In one embodiment, a wavelength-sensitive addition is incorporation in game ticket play area. In another embodiment, reflectance characteristics of a game ticket play area are controlled.
Claims13
A method for making lottery game tickets of first and second styles, wherein each ticket includes a play area having an outer surface and an indicia icon surface, said method being characterized in that said method includes the steps of:
- controlling manufacture of said tickets of said first style so that said outer surface of tickets of said first style exhibits at least one first color under white light and first at least one predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated at a first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths;
- and
- controlling manufacture of said tickets of said second style so that said outer surface of tickets of said second style exhibits at least one second color under in white light different from said at least one first color and further exhibits said first at least one predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated at said first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths.
A method for making lottery game tickets of first and second styles, wherein each ticket includes a play area having an outer surface and an indicia icon surface, said method being characterized in that said method includes the steps of:
- controlling manufacture of said tickets of said first style so that said outer surface of tickets of said first style exhibit at least one first color under white light, and first at least one predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated at a first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths, and further so that said indicia icon surface of tickets of said first style exhibit at least one second predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated under said first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths;
- and
- controlling manufacture of said tickets of said second style so that said outer surface of tickets of said second style exhibit at least one second color under white light different from said first color, and said first at least one predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated at said first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths, and further so that said indicia icon surface of tickets of said second style exhibit said at least one second predetermined reflectance characteristic when illuminated under said first predetermined narrow band of wavelengths.
