Abstract
A catalyst for olefin polymerization having the following structural formula (I): wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, C1-C12 alkoxy, or C6-C12 aryl, R2 and R2′ are respectively selected from hydrogen and C1-C4 alkyl, R3 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, C1-C12 alkoxy and C6-C12 aryl, and M is selected from Ti, Zr, and Hf The catalyst is suitable for olefin polymerization to yield polymerized products with high molecular weight and high insertion rate of comonomers.

A catalyst for olefin polymerization having the following structural formula (I):
- wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, C1-C12 alkoxy, and C6-C12 aryl, R2 and R2′ are respectively selected from hydrogen and C1-C4 alkyl, R3 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, C1-C12 alkoxy, and C6-C12 aryl, and M is selected from Ti, Zr and Hf.
