Abstract
Methods of using eplerenone, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor and optionally a diuretic are described for treatment of heart failure and hypertension.
Claims39
A co-therapy method for treating a cardiovascular disorder in a subject comprising administering a first amount of an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor and a second amount of eplerenone to the subject,
- wherein the first amount and second amount together comprise a therapeutically effective amount of the inhibitor and eplerenone;
- and
- wherein the cardiovascular disorder is selected from the group consisting of heart failure and hypertension.
