A compound of Formula (1) and salts thereof:

• wherein:
• A is a substituted phenyl group carrying a group of the formula —NR3R4 and an ortho group selected from the group consisting of sulpho, phosphonato and phosphinato;
• n is 1;
• L1 and L2 are H;
• R1 and R2 are each independently optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted alkoxy;
• and
• R3 and R4 are each independently H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl, or R3 and R4 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached form an optionally substituted 5- or 6-membered ring.

A compound of Formula (1) and salts thereof:

• wherein:
• A is a substituted phenyl group carrying a group of the formula —NR3R4 and an ortho group selected from the group consisting of sulpho, phosphonato and phosphinato;
• n is 1;
• L1 and L2 are H;
• R1 and R2 are each independently optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted alkoxy;
• R3 is H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl and R4 is an acyl group.

A compound of Formula (1) and salts thereof:

• wherein:
• A is a substituted phenyl group carrying a group of the formula —NR3R4 and an ortho group selected from the group consisting of sulpho, phosphonato and phosphinato;
• n is 0 or 1;
• L1 and L2 are each independently H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl, or L1 and L2 together with the N atom to which they are attached form an optionally substituted 5 or 6-membered ring;
• R1 and R2 are each independently optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted alkoxy;
• R3 and R4 are each selected from the group consisting of C1-4-alkyl, C1-4-alkyl-OH, phenyl or phenyl carrying a carboxy and/or sulpho group, or R3 and R4 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached form an optionally substituted morpholino or piperidino group.

• R1 and R2 are each independently optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted alkoxy;
• R3 is selected from the group consisting of C1-4-alkyl, C1-4-alkyl-OH, phenyl and phenyl carrying a carboxy and/or sulpho group;
• and R4 is H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl.
