Claims38
A computer system for implementing a virtual reality game used by a plurality of users, said computer system comprising:
- a telecommunications complex;
- a plurality of world server complexes;
- a plurality of user computers connected to said world server complexes through said telecommunications complex;
- an administration server connected to said plurality of world server complexes and said plurality of user computers through said telecommunications complex;
- and
- a visual display created on at least one display screen for providing statistics about said computer system, said visual display comprising a world status area identifying a plurality of virtual reality worlds and including information about (a) the number of users logged into one or more said plurality of virtual worlds who have submitted petitions related to their respective worlds and (b) the number of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds to enable dispatching of the administrative guides to the world to assist in responding to the petitions.
A method of creating a visual display on at least one display screen relating to a multi-user virtual reality game, said method comprising:
- utilizing a plurality of world server complexes to create unique virtual reality worlds in which a user can interact with other users through avatars, operated by user computers connected to said world server complexes;
- utilizing an administration server connected to said plurality of world server complexes and said plurality of user computers through a telecommunications network;
- providing a visual display on at least one display screen, said visual display including a world status area which identifies a plurality of virtual worlds and information about (a) the number of users logged into said plurality of virtual worlds who have submitted petitions related to their respective worlds and (b) the number of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds to enable dispatching of the administrative guides to the world to assist in responding to the petitions.
A visual display created on a display screen for providing statistics related to a computer system for implementing a virtual reality game used by a plurality of users, said computer system including a telecommunications network and a plurality of world server complexes connected to an administration server for providing said visual display, said visual display comprising:
- a computer system status area for providing information regarding a status of said computer system including the number of said users using said computer system;
- and
- a world status area for providing information regarding said users using said world server complexes including (a) the number of said users using each of said world server complexes who have submitted petitions related to their respective worlds and (b) the number of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds to enable dispatching of the administrative guides to the world to assist in responding to the petitions.
A computer system for implementing a virtual reality game used by a plurality of users, said computer system comprising:
- a telecommunications complex;
- a plurality of world server complexes;
- a plurality of user computers connected to said world server complexes through said telecommunications complex;
- an administration server connected to said plurality of world server complexes and said plurality of user computers through said telecommunications complex;
- and
- a visual display created on at least one display screen for providing statistics about said computer system, said visual display comprising a world status area identifying a plurality of virtual reality worlds and including information about (a) the number of users logged into one or more said plurality of virtual worlds at a given achievable character status level within each of their respective worlds and (b) the number and level of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds.
A method of creating a visual display on at least one display screen relating to a multi-user virtual reality game, said method comprising:
- utilizing a plurality of world server complexes to create unique virtual reality worlds in which a user can interact with other users through avatars, operated by user computers connected to said world server complexes;
- utilizing an administration server connected to said plurality of world server complexes and said plurality of user computers through a telecommunications network;
- providing a visual display on at least one display screen, said visual display including a world status area which identifies a plurality of virtual worlds and information about (a) the number of users logged into one or more said plurality of virtual worlds at a given achievable character status level within each of their respective worlds and (b) the number and level of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds.
A visual display created on a display screen for providing statistics related to a computer system for implementing a virtual reality game used by a plurality of users, said computer system including a telecommunications network and a plurality of world server complexes connected to an administration server for providing said visual display, said visual display comprising:
- a computer system status area for providing information regarding a status of said computer system including the number of said users using said computer system;
- and
- a world status area for providing information regarding said users using said world server complexes including (a) the number of users logged into one or more said plurality of virtual worlds at a given achievable character status level within each of their respective worlds and (b) the number and level of participating administrative guides logged into each of the worlds.
