Abstract
A method for attaching an additional object to a resonator body. The method includes the steps of (1) placing the additional object in a recess of a pushing part of an extrusion machine; (2) pressing the pushing part against a bloom of a resonator body; and (3) pulling the pushing part back from the resulting resonator body. The attaching of the additional object occurs in conjunction with the extrusion process.
Claims9
A method for attaching an additional object to a resonator body, the additional object having a first and a second surface, and the resonator body being manufactured by the process of extrusion utilizing a pushing part of an extrusion machine for providing an extruding force, the method comprising steps;
- placing the additional object in a recess made in said pushing part so that the first surface rests against the surface of the recess and the second surface is surrounded by air,
- pressing the pushing part against a bloom of the resonator body to form the resonator body and to press material of the resonator body against the second surface, and
- pulling the pushing part back from the resulting resonator body and from the additional object attached thereto,
- whereby said attaching occurs in conjunction with said extrusion process.
