Abstract
In order to produce a monitoring device for checking for a predefined position of a body or for checking for the presence of a body, comprising a pivotal checking element, a motor for driving the checking element and a control device for controlling the pivotal movement of the checking element, wherein the pivotal movement is effected in a controlled manner, provision is made for the control device to specify the pivotal position of the checking element in dependence on the time.
Claims51
A monitoring device for checking for a predefined position of a body or for checking for the presence of a body, comprising:
- a pivotal checking element for checking for a predefined position or presence of a body;
- a shaft for driving the checking element;
- a motor for driving the shaft and thus the checking element;
- and
- a control device for controlling the motor to control the pivotal movement of the checking element;
- wherein the control device includes a control loop that controls the pivotal movement of the checking element in dependence on time in accordance with a pre-defined pivotal position-time course such that the checking element is positioned at any location along said course at a predefined time independent of any frictional moment exerted on the shaft, and
- wherein the pivotal position of the checking element relative to a starting position is known at every time in the pivotal movement of said checking element.
