Abstract
Bisphosphonate (BP), pyrophosphate (PP) a complex of BP or PP, a polymer of BP or PP or pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, are used for the prevention or treatment of vascular restenosis.
Claims6
A method of treating restenosis, comprising:
- administering to an individual in need thereof an effective amount of a formulation comprising a bisphosphonate encapsulated in a liposome, wherein said formulation has a size range of 0.1-1.0 microns, thereby treating restenosis.
