Novel chemokines for mobilizing stem cells are provided. Methods of mobilizing stem cells are also provided.
Claims21
A method of mobilizing hematopoietic stem cells in an animal having need of cancer therapy, comprising:
- (a) administering to said animal an effective amount of a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO:5;
- and
- (b) thereby inducing the mobilization of said hematopoietic stem cells.
