Abstract
An animal control system and method generates an on-off correction stimulus using a small transformer and rectifies the high voltage output to give an unfiltered unipolar voltage applied to electrodes as a correction stimulus. A small, efficient power isolation system is disclosed. An omnidirectional antenna is disclosed that reduces authentication time.
Claims7
An animal control system to contain within or exclude from a region comprising:
- a receiver to receive a boundary signal having a carrier frequency and to control the animal, the receiver comprising;
- (a) a plurality of substantially physically orthogonal antenna systems for receiving the boundary signal,
- (b) each antenna system having a different electrical phase,
- (c) a combiner for combining the received boundary signals, and
- (d) a stimulus generator to control the animal.
