Abstract
There is disclosed a process for reducing residual free radical polymerizable monomer content of a polymer comprising contacting the polymer, in molten form, with a free radical initiator, such as di-tert-amylperoxide.
Claims13
A process for reducing residual free radical polymerizable monomer content of a polymer comprising contacting the polymer, in molten form, with a free radical initiator, present in an amount ranging from about 25 to about 500 parts per million, based on the polymer.
