Abstract
Compositions for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers, comprising, as oxidation base, at least one para-aminophenol, of formula (I) and/or at least one acid-addition salt thereof: in which: R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl radical or a C1-C4 trifluoroalkyl radical, R2 and R3 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl radical or a C1-C4 monohydroxyalkyl radical, and X, Y and Z independently represent a carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom, wherein the bonds XY and YZ are single or double bonds; a dyeing process using these compositions, novel para-aminophenols and a process for their preparation.
Claims34
A composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers comprising,
- a) at least one oxidation base chosen from para-aminophenols of formula (I) and acid-addition salts thereof:
- in which:
- R1 is chosen from a hydrogen atom, linear and branched C1-C4 alkyl radicals, and C1-C4 trifluoroalkyl radicals;
- R2 and R3 independently are chosen from a hydrogen atom, C1-C4 alkyl radicals, and C1-C4 monohydroxyalkyl radicals;
- and
- X, Y and Z independently represent a carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom, wherein the bonds XY and YZ are independently single or double bonds;
- and
- b) a medium suitable for dyeing keratin fibers.
A process for dyeing keratin fibers comprising
- applying at least one composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers to said keratin fibers;
- developing a color at acidic, neutral or alkaline pH using at least one oxidizing agent;
- wherein said oxidizing agent is added to said at least one composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers at the time of use, or said oxidizing agent is present in an oxidizing composition applied simultaneously or sequentially in a separate manner;
- and
- wherein said at least one composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers comprises, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one oxidation base chosen from para-aminophenols of formula (I) and acid-addition salts thereof:
- in which:
- R1, is chosen from a hydrogen atom, linear and branched C1-C4, alkyl radicals, and C1-C4, trifluoroalkyl radicals;
- R2 and R3, independently are chosen from a hydrogen atom, C1-C4, alkyl radicals, and C1-C4 monohydroxyalkyl radicals;
- and
- X, Y and Z independently represent a carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom, wherein the bonds XY and YZ are independently single or double bonds.
A multi-compartment dyeing kit comprising a first compartment containing at least one composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers, and a second compartment containing an oxidizing composition,
- wherein said at least one composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers comprises, in a medium suitable for dyeing at least one oxidation base chosen from para-aminophenols of formula (I) and acid-addition salts thereof:
- in which:
- R1, is chosen from a hydrogen atom, linear and branched C1-C4, alkyl radicals, and C1-C4, trifluoroalkyl radicals;
- R2 and R3, independently are chosen from a hydrogen atom, C1-C4, alkyl radicals, and C1-C4, monohydroxyalkyl radicals;
- and
- X, Y and Z independently represent a carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom, wherein the bonds XY and YZ are independently single or double bonds.
7-amino-1-methyl-1H-indol-4-ol, or an acid-addition salt thereof.
