Abstract
A prefabricated relief form member for use as an architectural feature on a structure formed alternatively by use of welded wire mesh, double wire welded wire mesh, corner beads fixed together, or woven wire mesh and optionally using corner beads at the corners of the top and sides, and having backing paper.
Claims3
A prefabricated relief form member for receiving and retaining a cementitious coating when the form member is attached to a prepared structural wall, the member comprising;
- a first pair of corner bead members forming oppositely extending flanges and spaced apart sides;
- a second pair of corner bead members placed to have one side extension extending adjacent said spaced apart sides to form double-walled spaced apart sides and the other side extension to form a top portion;
- a means for holding the corner bead members together to define a channel;
- paper backing fixed to the channel;
- and
- absent any other structural support member.
