2-acylaminobenzimidazole derivatives for treating glaucoma

A compound of the formula:

• wherein:
• X=H, F, Cl, Br, OR1, CN, C(═O)R1, C(═O)NR1R2, C1-6 alkyl, OC(═O)R1, OC(═O)NR1R2, or CF3;
• R, R1, R2=H or C1-6alkyl;
• Y=CH2NRR2 or CHR1NRR2 or with the proviso that when X=H, Y does not equal CH2N(CH2CH3)2;
• Z=CH;
• R3=H, F, Cl, Br, OR1, CN, C1-6 alkyl or CF3;
• and
• R4=H, C1-3 alkyl, F, Cl, Br, I or CF3.
