Abstract
The invention concerns the use in a cosmetic composition of at least a poly-aminoacid of general formula (1) in which X is —O—, —S— or —NR3; R1 represents in particular a hydrogen atom or a C114 C40 alkyl radical; R2 represents in particular a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl radical; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical; R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a radical such as NH2, OH, SH, —CHOHCH3, —CONH2; n is a number greater than 1 such that the poly-aminoacid derivative molecular weight ranges between 200 and 200000. The invention also concerns the use of said derivatives for keratinous fibre strengthening and care. (I)
Claims37
A method for strengthening and caring for keratin fibres, comprising applying to said keratin fibres a cosmetic composition comprising at least one polyamino acid of formula (I)
- wherein
- X is —NH—;
- R1 is C15H31CH(OH)—CH(CH2OH)—
- R2 is a hydrogen atom;
- R3 is CH3;
- and
- n is an average number greater than 1 such that the molecular weight of the polyamino acid of formula (I) ranges from 200 to 200,000;
- or a salt of said polyamino acid.
A method for treating keratin fibres comprising applying a composition to said fibers and optionally rinsing said keratin fibres, wherein said composition comprises:
- at least one polyamino acid of formula (I):
- wherein
- X is —NH—;
- R1 is C15H31CH(OH)—CH(CH2OH)—
- R2 is a hydrogen atom;
- R3 is CH3;
- and
- n is an average number greater than 1 such that the molecular weight of the polyamino acid of formula (I) ranges from 200 to 200,000;
- or a salt of said polyamino acid.
A method for treating keratin fibres, comprising applying, simultaneously or separately, to said keratin fibres, said keratin fibres having optionally been moistened, at least one compound A and at least one compound B:
- wherein
- compound A is sarcosine N-carboxyanhydride;
- and
- compound B is 2-aminooctadecane-1,3-diol;
- at least one of said compounds (A) and (B) being present in a cosmetically acceptable medium,
- optionally rubbing said fibres for a period of about 2 to 30 minutes, and optionally rinsing;
- and
- wherein at least one compound A and at least one compound B are combined to form at least one polyamino acid of formula (I)
- wherein
- X is —NH—;
- R1 is C15H31CH(OH)—CH(CH2OH)—;
- R2 is a hydrogen atom;
- R3 is CH3;
- and
- n is an average number greater than 1 such that the molecular weight of the polyamino acid of formula (I) ranges from 200 to 200,000;
- or a salt of said polyamino acid.
