Abstract
The present invention relates to liquid hypohalite bleach-containing compositions which comprise an alkyl ethoxy sulphate having a low number of moles of ethoxy groups.
Claims6
A liquid bleaching composition comprising from 0.01% to 1% of a hypohalite bleach and an alkyl ethoxy sulphate surfactant having an average of 2 or less moles of ethoxy groups and up to 50% by weight of a surfactant having the following formula:
- wherein R1 is a linear or branched chain lower alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- R2 represents a hydrocarbon chain;
- and M is an alkali metal.
A liquid bleaching composition comprising from 0.01% to 1% of a hypohalite bleach and an alkyl ethoxy sulphate surfactant having an average of 2 or less moles of ethoxy groups and up to 50% by weight of a surfactant having the following formula:
- R3SO4−M+
- wherein R3 represents a linear or branched alkyl group of from about 8 to about 18 carbon atoms;
- and M is an alkali metal.
