Abstract
The present invention provides methods of using antisense ADNF III oligonucleotides to inhibit the growth of pathologically proliferating cells. The invention also provides methods and kits for using ADNF III nucleic acid probes to detect the presence of pathologically proliferating cells in human tissues.
Claims13
A method of inhibiting the growth of a cancer cell, the method comprising the step of contacting the cell with an ADNFIII antisense oligonucleotide that is fully complementary to a subsequence of an ADNFIII nucleic acid, wherein the antisense oligonucleotide is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, SEQ ID NO:
- 2, SEQ ID NO:
- 3 and SEQ ID NO:
- 6.
