Abstract
The present invention relates to liquid-crystalline media which comprise at least one compound of the formula I and at least one compound of the formula II in which the parameters are as defined herein, to the use of these liquid-crystal media in electro-optical displays, and to these displays, in particular STN-LCDs.

A liquid-crystal medium comprising at least one compound of formula I and at least one compound of formula II
- wherein
- R1 is alkyl or alkoxy of 1 to 7 carbon atoms or alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl or alkenyloxy of 2 to 7 carbon atoms,
- Y1 is H or F,
- R2 is alkenyl or alkenyloxy of 3 to 7 carbon atoms, and
- Y21 and Y22 are each independently H or F.
