Abstract
Medical devices and methods of producing same are provided. The medical device comprising a body member and a coating on at least a portion of the body member comprising an insitu condensation product of a first electrophilically active, high molecular weight polyalkylene oxide and a second high molecular weight polyoxyalkylene derivative.

An implantable biological tissue having improved calcification mitigation properties, comprising:
- a biological tissue treated with one or more high molecular weight polyalkylene oxide derivatives.
A method for improving the calcification mitigation properties of an implantable biological tissue, comprising the step of:
- treating a biological tissue with one or more high molecular weight polyalkylene oxide derivatives.
