Claims13
A moisture removal device for drying a structure, the moisture removal device comprising:
- a blower;
- a flexible hose having an internal channel, a first end and a second end, the first end connected to the blower, the second end closed;
- a hose insert having a piercing protrusion with an orifice, a hollow shaft continuous with the orifice, and a coupler continuous with the hollow shaft, such that when the piercing protrusion is pressed against the flexible hose, the piercing protrusion penetrates through the flexible hose and places the orifice into the internal channel of the flexible hose;
- an injector with an open end inserted into the structure, a hollow channel continuous with the open end, and a connector continuous with the hollow channel;
- and
- a flexible tube with a first end removably connected to the coupler of the hose insert, and a second end removably connected to the connector of the injector, whereupon operation of the blower causes removal of moisture from the structure.

- a plurality of hose inserts, each insert having means to attach and convey airflow from the interior of the flexible hose to the exterior of the hose insert;
- a plurality of connection hoses, each connection hose having a first end and a second end, the first end of each connection hose attached to each hose insert, respectively;
- and
- a plurality of injectors, each injector having a first end and a second end, the first end of the injector being connected to the second end of the connecting hose and the second end of each injector being inserted into the structure, such that air flows between the blower and the plurality of injectors.
