Automated electronic telecommunications order translation and processing

A method for automatically processing orders for telecommunications services received by a telecommunications services provider, the method comprising:

• obtaining by a reseller telecommunications service order information from a customer;
• generating by a reseller an electronic message in a first predefined standard format having a plurality of concatenated segments each having corresponding segment identification codes;
• receiving by the telecommunications services provider the electronic message;
• automatically processing the electronic message by separating the message into the segments based on the segment identification codes to identify information related to at least one telecommunications service offered by the telecommunications service provider;
• and
• automatically generating an order for the at least one telecommunications service based on the information so as to reduce manual intervention.

A method for automatically processing orders for telecommunications services received by a telecommunications services provider, the method comprising:

• receiving an electronic message in a first predefined standard format having a plurality of concatenated segments each having corresponding segment identification codes, the electronic message corresponding to a batch of telecommunication service orders;
• automatically processing the electronic message by separating the message into the segments based on the segment identification codes to identify information related to at least two telecommunications services offered by the telecommunications service provider;
• and
• automatically generating orders for the at least two telecommunications services based on the information.
