Claims8
A method of producing a recombinant virus in a cell, said method comprising introducing into said cell an artificial chromosome construct comprising a nucleic acid sequence that directs formation of a recombinant virus upon introduction into said cell.
A method of introducing a heterologous nucleic acid sequence into a cell, said method comprising introducing into said cell an artificial chromosome construct comprising a nucleic acid sequence that directs formation of a recombinant virus upon introduction into said cell, wherein said artificial chromosome construct further comprises said heterologous nucleic acid sequence.
A method of killing a cell, said method comprising introducing into said cell an artificial chromosome construct comprising a nucleic acid sequence that directs formation of a lytic recombinant virus upon introduction into said cell.
