Abstract
A method for inhibiting the rate of the growth of vegetation is disclosed, which includes contacting the vegetation with an effective amount of a composition including 5-acetamido-2,4-dimethyltrifluoromethanesulfonanilide, ethyl 4-cyclopropyl (hydroxy)methylene-3,5-dioxocyclohexanecarboxylate, flurprimidol or paclobutrazol.
Claims2
A method for inhibiting the rate of the growth of vegetation which comprises contacting said vegetation with an effective amount of a composition consisting essentially of a compound selected from the group consisting of 5-acetamido-2,4-dimethyltrifluoromethanesulfonanilide, ethyl 4-cyclopropyl(hydroxyl)methylene-3,5-dioxocyclohexanecarboxylate, flurprimidol and paclobutrazol, or horticulturally acceptable salts thereof, said composition applied to said vegetation in spray foam form.
