Abstract
A device is presented for processing digital signals conveyed between a common port and many particular ports. The device includes a linear processing module. The module includes filters, which simultaneously apply a phase-shift and a chosen amplitude emphasis at each of the particular ports. The phase-shift is specific to each particular port, and the amplitude emphasis is substantially the same for all the particular ports. At the common port, the device also includes a common inversion filter, which performs inverse amplitude emphasis to the chosen amplitude emphasis.
Claims17
A device for processing digital signals conveyed between a common port (C) and a plurality of M ports (P1, . . . , PM) including a linear processing module (T1, . . . , TM), characterized in that said device includes particular a plurality of filters (FP1, . . . , FPM) which simultaneously apply a phase-shift and a chosen amplitude emphasis at each of the plurality of M ports (P1, . . . , PM), said phase-shift being specific to each of said plurality of ports (P1, . . . , PM) and the amplitude emphasis being substantially the same for all of said plurality of ports (P1, . . . , PM) and in that said device includes at said common port (C) a common inversion filter (I) which performs the inverse amplitude emphasis to said chosen amplitude emphasis.
