Abstract
The invention provides isolated nucleic acid and amino acid sequences of four novel G-protein coupled receptors that are amplified in breast cancer cells, antibodies to such receptors, methods of detecting such nucleic acids and receptors, and methods of screening for modulators of G-protein coupled receptors.
Claims19
An isolated nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:4, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:8.
An isolated nucleic acid that comprises at least 100 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:3 or the complement of SEQ ID NO:3.
An isolated nucleic acid that comprises at least 100 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:5 or the complement of SEQ ID NO:5.
An isolated nucleic acid that comprises at least 100 contiguous nucleotides of SEQ ID NO:7 or the complement of SEQ ID NO:7.
An isolated nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid subsequence of SEQ ID NO:6 that is encoded by a nucleic acid that is amplified by the primer set of SEQ ID NO:13 and SEQ ID NO:14.
